Native North Carolinian, Brandon Keith Woodard, M.D. was born to be a physician, as it was his childhood dream. Sociable and personable, he thrives on friendships and connecting with others. “I love connecting with patients in their lives, from the joy of having a baby, to her other medical needs in the future” he says.
Dr. Woodard completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He attended medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Medicine. He then attended residency at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, GA.
Dr. Woodard is determined and enthusiastic. He was chief resident at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, GA. He has presented at multiple national conferences including two consecutive years at the national American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology Conference and has also been published in several journals. He has won multiple awards for his skills in surgery during his residency. In addition, Dr. Woodard is experienced in minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures, including the da Vinci Robotic System.
When not treating patients, Dr. Woodard enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family, as he has moved back close to family in his native home county and state.
